The first film by Anurag Kashyap, Last Train to Mahakali is a suspense thriller about a man who wants to find a cure for all the deadly viruses that are fatal.
In the film we are shown Kay Kay Menon as an AIIMS student who currently is in jail narrating his story to a female reporter who convinced him to help him get out of the jail. The film really gripped me in between, the way Kashyap was building the suspense. Though the climax was completely unpredictable and unexpected to me, I didn’t like it very much as it resembled to another film written by Anurag Kashyap.
